Hi, I'm Leslie...

I grew up on a farm in rural Northeast Louisiana, near the Mississippi River, riding 4-wheelers and tractors, hunting, fishing, and working in both my family's General Store (established in 1934) and cotton gin, located in Swampers, Louisiana. As you can imagine, Long Island is a far different environment, but I still try to pass along those hometown vibes to each and every person that I meet.

I attended Louisiana Tech University and graduated from The University of Louisiana - Monroe, earning a Bachelor's degree in French, with a focus in International Business. In the years following graduation, I worked in the insurance industry as an agent and later as an insurance adjuster (mainly as a catastrophe adjuster, working after large storms). After Superstorm Sandy, I was contracted by The State of New York to assess damage to homes. It was during this time, while assessing damage and living in Long Beach, that I met my husband, Chris, an NYPD Officer at the time (now a retired Detective).

Upon deciding to stay "up North" with the love of my life, I began attending Touro Law. During my first year of Law School, Chris and I were married. In my second year, we had our first son. In addition to building a family, I participated in and held leadership roles in numerous clubs and organizations. After graduating from law school, I began working in the area of real estate law, and it has become a labor of love.

My husband and I now have two sons (Grayson and Duke) and live in Lindenhurst ("Lindy"). I am a member of the Lindenhurst Chamber of Commerce and am delighted by all the excitement, success and growth in my "new small town".

In addition to my participation in the Lindenhurst Chamber, I am also a member of the New York State, Suffolk, Nassau, and New York City Bar Associations. I serve on the Domestic Violence Committee for the New York City Bar Association and the Real Property Committee for the Suffolk County Bar Association.
